Katie Pickler was born in Memphis and currently resides in Germantown, TN. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's in Organizational Communications. Katie joined our firm in January of 2019 and serves as Vice President. She is a licensed Financial Advisor and a Chartered SRI Counselor (CSRIC®). In July 2023, she obtained her Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning. Katie was also named to Memphis Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Class of 2023.

 

Prior to joining the Pickler Wealth Advisors family, she began her career in fundraising and event management. She worked with JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) West TN, the leading global nonprofit organization focused on Type 1 Diabetes research. Katie handled fundraising and development activities, raising over 1 million annually for type 1 research through various events. 

 

Katie is passionate about community service and putting her stamp on the world for making a difference. Her entire family is community-service driven through various outlets and raised her to always do for others. She is a 2015 graduate of Leadership Germantown and volunteers her time with JDRF and Memphis Oral School for the Deaf. 

 

Katie also contributes to Pickler Wealth Advisors through her event planning business, Pickler Events. What started out as a volunteer passion project for friends and family has grown into a premier event planning and coordination service in the Mid-South. 

 

Katie married Daniel Callahan in August of 2019. Katie is an avid Cardinals baseball and Dallas Cowboys fan since birth. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling to new places, and attending themed parties.
